Sam & Maclure.
From the top of the bowl, we ditched our skis and
hiked across talus and snow to the SW edge of the Kuna
Crest. On the way up, I got this view of Sam
climbing the ridge, with Mount Maclure and its glacier
behind him. |

Airplane View. At
the end of the ridge, a sheer cliff drops about 800
vertical feet to the lakes basin below.
Magnificent views of Ritter, Banner and Lyell were
had.
