Beach Villas.
These are the first few water villas at the
Four Seasons Resort at Maldives Kuda Huraa. We
stayed in one of these for the last few days of our
trip to the island. The villas are absolutely
incredible: snorkelling off the back patio, complete
privacy, outdoor shower and views almost all the way
to Madagasgar. Highly recommended.

Diving. This is a
picture of Rich on the dive boat at Kuda Huraa. The
dive operation here is awesome. Although the Maldives
are one of the top dive destinations in the world, we
never saw another boat in our dive area. One time
there was another boat within 400 yards of us and our
divemaster became quite annoyed and asked the boat
driver to haul us out of there to his secret site. The
diving is world class. We saw sharks on almost every
dive, enough turtles to make you think they're not
endangered, and all other sorts of funky sea
creatures. |

Dana. This is my
lovely wife Dana enjoying the sunshine. Dana and I
both agreed that Kuda Huraa was perhaps the greatest
place we had ever been. I remarked at one point that I
didn't think I had ever been so relaxed. |

On the Beach.
This is a picture of us on the beach, using the tripod that we bought in
Singapore on the way to the Maldives. Promptly after
taking this picture, Rich broke the tripod,
necessitating yet another trip to the Orchard Road
shopping district in Singapore to buy another tripod
before traveling onto Nepal. |

Sunset. This is a
standard Maldivian sunset overlooking the pool at Kuda
Huraa. We saw this sunset every night at dinner. |
 |
View. Here's Dana
hamming it up outside the lagoon-side cocktail bar. We
watched several sunsets from here, beers in hand,
listening to a three man acoustic band.
