encompasses the entire northwest Tahoe area. It
spans roughly from I-80 and the Donner Pass area,
southeast towards Lake Tahoe and its west shore.
It includes the Granite Chief Wilderness, and the
backcountry around the Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows
ski areas. |
